Terms of Sale

1. Who you are buying from

These tools are sold by [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY NAME], [YOUR POSTAL ADDRESS], contactable at hello@throughlinetools.com. "We" and "us" below mean that seller; "you" means the person buying.

2. What you are buying

A licence to use Throughline Progression, Throughline Balance, or both. You are not buying ownership of the software.

These are pre-orders. At the time of purchase the software is unfinished and cannot be downloaded. Delivery is currently estimated for Q1 2027. That is a genuine estimate made in good faith, not a guarantee, and it may move.

If it moves, we will email you and explain why. You may take a full refund at that point, or at any other point before delivery. See the Refund Policy.

3. What the licence lets you do

What it does not let you do

One licence covers one person. If several people at a studio will use it, buy a licence each or email us about a site licence.

4. Price and payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown on the site before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Any tax due is added at checkout where applicable.

The price you pay is locked for the whole of version 1. Prices will rise at release. Yours will not.

5. Delivery

When the software is ready we will email a download link to the address you used at checkout. It is your responsibility to give a working address and to keep it reachable. If you change email address, tell us.

6. Refunds

Full refund at any time before delivery, and for 30 days after. The Refund Policy is part of these terms.

7. What we promise, and what we do not

We will make a genuine effort to deliver working software that does what this site describes. We cannot promise it will be free of bugs, suit every workflow, or be compatible with every system or engine version.

The software is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data, lost work, lost profits, or delays to your project. Our total liability to you will not exceed what you paid us.

Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud. Keep your own backups of your project files, as you would with any tool.

8. If the project ends

If we stop developing the software before delivering it to you, you get a full refund. If we stop after delivering it, you keep what you have โ€” it runs offline with no licence check, and your project files are plain JSON you can read in any text editor.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms you agreed to when you bought are the ones that apply to your purchase, and we will email licence holders about any change that materially affects them.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to its courts. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under the law of your own country.
