Who is responsible

What the apps collect
Nothing. Throughline Progression and Throughline Balance are desktop
applications that read and write files on your own disk. There is no account, no sign-in, no
analytics, no crash reporting and no licence check that contacts us. They run offline
indefinitely. Your .gpproj and .gbproj files are yours and stay
where you put them.
What this website collects
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
It does load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not receive or store it.
What we collect when you buy

Who we share it with
We use three processors, and no one else:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles your card details directly; we receive only your email address and the fact you paid.
- Resend — sending your receipt, licence key and delivery emails.
- Cloudflare — hosting this site and storing your email address and licence key.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to build a profile of you. We will only disclose it otherwise if legally required to.
Where it is stored
Your email address and licence key are stored in Cloudflare's key-value storage, which is distributed across their global network. Stripe and Resend hold data in line with their own policies, including standard contractual clauses for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Your email address and licence key are kept while your licence is active, so we can send updates and answer support questions. Transaction records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires.
Ask us to delete your data at any time and we will, apart from the transaction records we are legally obliged to keep. Deleting your data means we can no longer send you the software or support your licence.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. You can also object to processing. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the EU. We would appreciate the chance to fix it first.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will email everyone holding a licence rather than quietly updating the page.
